Absolutely! I've spent more hours researching mods and, once I've selected the mods I want, editing them in TES5Edit to ensure compatibility, than I've actually spent playing the game. If the mod creator doesn't provide support or feedback to people's queries or problems I usually steer well clear of the mod itself. I also usually check over the comments section in mods that seem a bit complex, just to see if there are any issues. And who knows better than the mod author themself about the possible problems with their mod.Yeah, I always check the mod creator's comments about any incompatibilites with other mods before installing.
